Ice Cube Reveals Leaving N.W.A Was a "Big Risk"

Ice Cube recently touched on his departure from N.W.A and why he considers the move “a big risk.” Speaking to HipHopDX, the rapper explained that his exit from the esteemed group taught him an important and valuable lesson. “It could have went all bad from there after reaching the mountain top and you just kind of throw yourself off. So that could have went bad, but it taught me how to trust myself, trust what I see and what I believe,” Cube explained. “And I was dedicated to not letting this business change who I am.” He continued, “I feel nothing is worth saving. Do what you feel or don’t do it. Don’t worry about the past or the future, just do what you feel. And you’ll be able to live with yourself at the end of the day, whether anybody like it or not. As long as you can live with yourself, that’s all that matters.” Cube was the second member to leave N.W.A after Arabian Prince, leaving the group in late 1989. He went on to release his solo records AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted and Death Certificate over the next two years, and kicked off his acting career in 1991’s Boyz N The Hood.

Different from previous occurrences, Goldberg is now married to a crazy wife who won’t let his actions fall by the wayside. Lil Baby’s Jeweler Admits To Selling Him Fake Patek Philippe Watch by Mistake

Lil Baby‘s jeweler has officially admitted to selling him a fake Patek Philippe watch, shortly after after the rapper took to social media to call out his jeweler for finessing him to buy a $400K USD Patek. Over the weekend, Rafaello and Co. released a statement to XXL Magazine, offering their perspective on the situation. Though the company has fessed up and has apologized, their explanation reveals that their due diligence has not been up to par. The statement reads as follows. “We do stand on our name just like he does that’s why today he got those four rings for free and his money back because we didn’t do our homework on the watch and we take full responsibility for that. But it didn’t happen intentionally and he knows that for a fact. Everyone that knows me knows that I don’t play games when it comes to my brand and especially my client’s brands. I personally want to apologize to @lilbaby for not doing my due diligence when selling him the Patek watch. I should have inspected the watch after purchasing it from the dealer. I take full responsibility for not doing my job properly. I personally would NEVER knowingly sell him or anyone else anything that is not 100% authentic. I have known @libaby for a while and there is nothing fake about him – especially his jewelry and watches. I want to personally apologize to Lil Baby for what has transpired. Rafaello & Co. took immediate action to rectify this. We worked directly with Lil Baby to refunded him in full and have gifted him rings as a token of our sincere apologies. We pride ourselves in being an honest business and will take great care to make sure nothing like this ever happens again. To all of our customers thank you for your business over the years and we look forward to continuing to provide the best jewelry and watches in the industry.” In a now-deleted post on Instagram, Lil Baby shared the fake wrist piece and called out the jeweler in the caption, “Now @rafaelloandco y’all Kno better then to sell ME of all people a FAKE Or anything that could be called a FAKE! I stand on my name the same way y’all should! Ain’t no such thing as a mistake when that money involved!! Don’t Fuccin Play Wit me Cause when I’m on that I’m on that #ansameforyoupussyassn*ggas #dontplaywitbaby.”

Ronaldo's Manchester Jersey Sales Explode PSG Record

With his return to Manchester United drawing unprecedented levels of international hype, Ronaldo began delivering for his new-old team even before he took the field. According to metrics analyzed by LoveTheSales, the football legend's "7" Man Utd jersey sold so many units that it put Messi's massive PSG haul to shame in mere days. Sales for Ronaldo's shirts — currently available for pre-order via Man Utd's web store for $31 apiece — have eclipsed £187 million (approximately $259 million) since the squad confirmed that Ronaldo would once again wear lucky number 7 in early September. Some figures put Ronaldo sales at £32.5 million (approximately $45 million) within the first 12 hours of the kits going on sale. In the days since it was confirmed, Ronaldo's shirts have reportedly been purchased nearly twice as much as Messi's "30" PSG jersey, making Ronaldo's gear the fastest-selling jersey in Premier League history. Apparently, nearly a quarter of official Man Utd gear peddlers have had their supplies drained. It's not about looks — though I'm sure Manchester fans love the streamlined kit — but about the Ronaldo Ripple, which is apparently several times more powerful than the Messi Effect, and Man Utd is reaping the benefits. Given that Man Utd paid about £12.9 million (approximately $18 million) to secure Ronaldo, the club has more than made its money back on the deal. Even once it pays his £26.52 million salary (approximately $36.6 million), it'll still be sitting pretty. Not that Messi is any slouch, of course, as his shirt has scored an estimated £104 million (approximately $144 million) in sales for PSG. Remember, these numbers aren't widely verified; they're gauged by "tracking sales... across online retailers," according to LoveTheSales co-founder Stuart McClure. An imperfect science, to be sure. These figures are hardly unbelievable, though, considering Ronaldo's track record of bringing home the proverbial bacon every time he changes teams. Plus, enthusiastic Ronaldo supporters on social media have only amplified the buzz around his new kit as the champion footballer finally took to the pitch on September 11. "It had to be him," swooned Man Utd on Twitter. It was speaking on the goal he had landed by half-time but might as well have been talking about those record-smashing jersey sales.
