Drake Names Rick Ross "The Greatest Rapper Alive"

Drake took to social media to show appreciation for Rick Ross, even going as far as calling him the greatest rapper alive. The OVO head shared an Instagram Story featuring the Maybach Music founder and Smiley, writing the caption, “@richforever @thareal_smiley the greatest rapper alive met my favourite rapper alive.” In the video itself, Rozay says, “Y’all know what it is, man. Right here, with family,” while the Canadian artist refers to him as “Big Boss.” Drizzy and Ross have collaborated on numerous occasions in the past decade, with the Florida-raised artist recently sharing that they are both adamant on dropping a joint album. With the pair gearing up to release their individual solo albums, Rozay shared, “Well, me and Drizzy, we may have spoken within the last 48 hours. But it’s only so much I can say other than this is the closest or the realest he’s ever been.” He added, “So the timing and everything is aligning. It’s something that we really want to give to the streets, on some real sh*t. So, it’s looking real solid. The Apple Watch Series 7 Could Have An All-New Form Factor

With the Apple Watch Series 7 expected to be unveiled at this year’s September event, rumors have begun to surface regarding an all-new form factor for the smartwatch. Based on the list of rumors that Matt Talks Tech compiled from leaked information, the next-gen Apple watch could be packing LTPO OLED screens with 1,000 nits of brightness, a new flat and squared-off case design, 32GB and 64GB options, an S7 processor, an ultra-wideband chipset, potential 5G connectivity, a glucose monitoring sensor, TouchID, and improved battery life (18 hours), and the option for either 40mm or 44mm sizes. Rough pricing has also been given as ranging from $399 to $479 USD. Although there’s no guarantee that the Apple Watch Series 7 will be unveiled in September, historic data has proven that Apple watch announcements tend to take place in September.

Shortly after sharing its Metropolitan Transportation Authority subway train collaboration, Supreme has now released its official full Fall/Winter 2021 lookbook. Revealing the range with a simple lookbook starring Sage Elsesser and Mathias Sauvageon, the latest seasonal offering is once again dominated by a mix of patterns, patchwork and prints. References come far and wide led by the usual artful inspirations, sporting takes and a strong focus on music, followed by designs that draw from rugged workwear, the brand’s native New York. Supreme’s spotlight FW21 styles include a series of apparel in collaboration with the New York Yankees complete with a 700-Fill GORE-TEX jackets. With artful inspirations coming in the form of Soccer Jerseys featuring artwork with by Tadanori Yokoo and STASH handstyle marked Varsity Jacket, Ripstop Nylon Jacket and Pants. Other art-centric styles like Sweatshirt, Sweatpants, Knit Top, 5-Panel Hat and Ceramic Trays featuring artwork by Lady Pink, and Christopher Wool artwork marked Work Jacket, Pants and Shirts. The New York imprint’s latest delve into the world of music features a Photo Tee with Rick Rubin, GORE-TEX Shell jacket celebrating Nas and DMX, and a jacquard graphic of John Coltrane’s A Love Supreme featured on a Denim Jacket and Jeans. Supreme has also put together a Skittles team-up with a Letterman Jacket, Sequin Jacket and Baseball Jersey in partnership with Mitchell & Ness. Meek Mill Drops New "War Stories" Track and Video

Meek Mill fans are in for a treat as the Philadelphia MC released new “War Stories” track and video just two months after releasing “Flamerz Flow”. The song samples one of the Isley Brothers’ most iconic hits from the ’80s, “Ballad for the Fallen Soldier,” which has also been heard in songs by numerous artists ranging from JAY-Z to DJ Khaled to Lil Wayne to G-Herbo. Similar to what the title of the song suggests, the track comments on the harsh realities of the street and the threats that continue to be prominent amongst the community. Meek provides his own perspective on how even after one makes it out and achieves fame and wealth, dangers are still lurking about. In the song, he raps, “My dawg got killed with his Rollie on/Forty on his hand, tryna blow it off/When I was at the funeral, it really gave me trauma when I seen his momma goin’ on/I said, ‘F**k it, we gon’ go to war.’” Fellow rappers Bobby Shmurda and Lil Uzi Vert make an appearance in the “War Stories” visual as Meek is showcased living his lavish lifstyle, cruising through the city in his Mayback, hitting clubs and dining with his crew. Welcome Homer: Frank Ocean Reveals His New Luxury Company

To say Frank Ocean keeps a low profile is a bit of an understatement, so when he finally does go public with something, it's a pretty big deal. So it goes for his enigmatic new luxury company, Homer, which the musician properly revealed on the afternoon of August 6. What is Homer, you ask? Well, according to the extremely straightforward Q&A sent in the press release, "Homer is an independent American luxury company founded by Frank Ocean." Simple enough! More specifically, Homer is a multifaceted effort unrelated to Frank Ocean's molasses-drip musical output, citing inspiration from "childhood obsessions" and "heritage as a fantasy," the release continues. First up from Homer is a selection of Italian-made jewelry and silk scarves. The latter is comprised of "18K gold, recycled sterling silver, and hand-painted enamel" with diamonds that "come from Homer’s state-of-the-art lab in America." Who knew Frank Ocean had his own diamond lab? Some of Homer's pendants and scarves can be had for under $1,000 but pricier bits run into the four- and even five-figure range. Then there's the "Sphere Legs High Jewelry Necklace," which comes in at a cool $1.89 million. Homer is clearly not an entry-level accessories label. Indeed, otherwise how could it justify that forthcoming Homer x Prada collaboration? "I didn’t want our work to be any less expensive than Cartier," Ocean told the Financial Times of Homer's scope. And, because this is a Frank Ocean joint, Homer isn't going to make it easy for you to peruse its wares. Just to see the goods, you must visit Homer's new outpost above the New York Jewelers Exchange or request a catalog on Homer's website, where you can also make an appointment to visit the space, which opens on August 9. "This is 3 years in the making and there is so so much I'm excited to share with all you strangers," Ocean said of Homer in a rare Instagram Story. It doesn't look like Travis Scott isn't slowing down anytime soon. Just days before his Fragment Air Jordan 1 Low collab is slated to drop, the Houston rapper stepped out in an unreleased Nike Air Trainer 1 Mid silhouette. As you can see, the sneaker is done up in a familiar colorway. The brown tones recall Scott's previous Nike collabs. Whether peppering his Insta posts with mocha brown hearts, showing off his custom Lamborghini Urus in the shade, or even sporting a very divisive brown Batman outfit, the color brown is usually a good indicator that Scott is involved. Here Is the New Trailer for Season 2 of 'Wu-Tang: An American Saga'

Hulu has launched the official trailer for the second season of Wu-Tang: An American Saga. The dramatic trailer gives fans an insight of the beginnings of the iconic hip-hop group. The biography of the group was recently announced to come back for a second season by RZA. While season one focused on how the group was initially formed, the second season is set to emphasize the creation of the group’s classic debut album, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). Ashton Sanders, who plays RZA, appears in the first scene of the trailer listening to some of Wu-Tang’s most famous samples, including the spoken word portion from Shaolin and Wu Tang. The trailer continues to show how the group chose its name, while engaging in conversations that pin-pointed the group’s doubts and fears as they focus on their desire to “change this entire industry.” Season two of Wu-Tang: An American Saga releases on Hulu on September 8.

Lionel Messi is Expected to Sign With PSG

After spending 21 years with FC Barcelona, Lionel Messi is moving on and will be signing to Paris Saint-Germain F.C. where he will be joining the likes of football stars Neymar Jr. and Kylian Mbappé. The Argentinian icon has agreed to sign a two-year contract with the French franchise, and the deal includes an option for a third year. The deal has not been officially finalized yet, but the 34-year old athlete is expected to be unveiled at the Eiffel Tower in the coming days. In his FC Barcelona farewell press conference that was held on August 8, 2021, the “Atomic Flea” expressed his sincerest thoughts about his departure. “I am really sad because I didn’t want to leave because this is the club I love,” Messi stated. “I didn’t expect this. I have never lied; I have always been honest and upfront. Last year I wanted to leave; this year I didn’t. That’s why I am so sad.” When asked about joining a rival club, he said, “There is no doubt that I will go to a team that will compete with Barca. I didn’t want to leave, but I have to. And I want to keep winning. That’s my mentality. I want to win.” Throughout his illustrious career with Barcelona, Messi has garnered a whopping seven Copas del Rey, three UEFA Super Cups, eight Supercopas de Espana, four Champions League crowns, 10 league titles, and three FIFA Club World Cups.

Beyoncé Debuts New Rodeo-Themed Video for Latest IVY PARK Collection

  With Beyoncé‘s next adidas x IVY PARK drop set to drop soon, the multi-hyphenate artist is giving fans a new teaser video on what to expect for her new Rodeo-themed collection. The collection, titled IVY PARK Rodeo, is an homage to the often forgotten legacy of Black cowboys and cowgirls. The new teaser features Queen Bey herself, wearing a bold denim ensemble whilst showing off her roping skills. Other notable performers such as Snoh Aalegra and Glynn Turman also appear in the video to help Beyoncé tease the latest collection. The video also shows Turman riding a horse while remembering the days he was shoveling manure at the Central Park stables just so he could ride for free. In his profile on the IVY PARK website, it read, “He says from as long as he could remember, he has had a fascination with horses. An accomplished horseman and rodeo champion off-screen, he and his wife, Jo-Ann, cofounded and direct a free Western-style summer camp, Camp Gid D Up for inner-city and at-risk youth since 1992. Following its much-coveted partnership with BTS, McDonald’s has now tapped Saweetie for its latest artist collaboration. “McDonald’s and I run deep – from growing up back in Hayward, California, all through my college days – so I had to bring my icy gang in on my all-time favorites. Depending on the mood I’m in, there are so many ways to enjoy my order,” the rapper speaks about her love for the fast foodchain. The special “Saweetie Meal” is comprised of a Big Mac, four-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium fries, medium Sprite and Tangy BBQ Sauce.
