HYKE X THE NORTH FACE

Japanese womenswear label HYKE showed its FW19 collection at Amazon Tokyo Fashion Week today. Designers Hideaki Yoshihara and Yukiko Ode presented military-inspired, asymmetrical womenswear alongside a hotly-anticipated collaboration with The North Face.

DRAKE "ASSASSINATION VACATION" EUROPEAN TOUR MERCH INSPIRED BY AUSTIN POWERS

Drake kicked off his “Assassination Vacation” European tour in Manchester on Sunday night, taking to Instagram to unveil the accompanying merch. Created with Tourlife, the collection is made up of T-shirts and hoodies that reference Drake’s Scorpion album. The gear features a scorpion graphic as well as a palm tree image framed within a reticle.

BALENCIAGA'S NEW CAMPAIGN: SUPERMARKET TOTE BAG - YES/NO?

Balenciaga has begun flooding its webstore with a variety of new pieces from its FW2018 collection including new clothes, shoes, accessories, and more. Alongside this bevy of releases is the Parisian brand’s new Campaign Supermarket Tote in a unique 50/50, front/back color split. Arriving in calfskin leather, the unique piece employs magazine cover-like imagery on both sides of the bag in either red or blue. Demna Gvasalia isn’t playing around, taking brand marketing to the max by infusing the near lookbook resemblance on the tote that further underlines the various pieces each model is wearing. Rounding out the open tote accessory, the liner-less bag also includes a pouch inside for your keys, wallet and cash. The unique made in Italy piece is currently available via Balenciaga's web store with a retail price of $1,790 USD, and over at select retailers like SSENSE.

CHANEL x PHARRELL WILLIAMS COLLABORATION TEASER

Sitting down with GQ France, Williams teased the upcoming joint effort by showcasing a few of the items what will be part of the collection including round “Pharrell/Chanel” sunglasses in blue and green; a green tote; a blue quilted bum bag; and a pair of Chanel x Pharrell sneakers. For the apparel, Williams is spotted in a white sweatshirt with “Chanel Pharrell” in red on the chest; a plain white shirt; and yellow hoodie with Chanel branding. Along with sharing his pieces from the forthcoming capsule, Williams also touched upon fashion, feminism, and what it was like working with Karl Lagerfeld.
