PAUSE OR SKIP: DIOR & JORDAN BRAND AIR JORDAN 1 HIGH OG COLLAB

Not dropping until 2020. After months of teasing, Dior unveiled its long-awaited Air Jordan collaboration at its Pre-Autumn runway show in Miami. Constructed in Italy, the Kim Jones designed sneaker features a fine calf-leather in a Dior Gray colourway, while a new take on the Jumpman Wings logo sees the addition of the words “AIR DIOR.” Fusing the pinnacle of sportswear sneakers with the pinnacle of luxury, the iconic Nike Swoosh is upgraded with Dior’s Oblique jacquard motif, which also appears on the shoe’s insoles. Scheduled to be globally available in April 2020, there is currently little to no information on the Air Jordan 1 High OG expect that the shoes will be limited edition. LEE X TIMBERLAND UNVEIL AUTUMN/WINTER 2019 COLLABORATIVE COLLECTION

All American Autumn/Winter Dressing. The latest in collaborative drops for autumn/winter 2019, Lee Jeans have teamed up with fellow American label Timberland for the release of a sustainable fifteen-piece capsule and accompanying campaign. Taking inspiration from both brands’ workwear roots, the concise offering serves up some utilitarian staples such as denim jackets, jeans and flannel shirts alongside similarly styled bags, accessories & footwear. Staying true to their heritage while incorporating modern features, tweaks such as clips and nylon webbing to aid fit and reflective detailing for visibility are utilised throughout. LEE X TIMBERLAND UNVEIL AUTUMN/WINTER 2019 COLLABORATIVE COLLECTION

LOUIS VUITTON TEASES LV 408 TRAINER CITY EXCLUSIVES

Virgil Abloh designed. Adding to its range of “Chicago” and “New York” LV 408 Trainers, Louis Vuitton recently announced that they will be releasing the “Paris” edition next. Designed by Virgil Abloh, the sneaker that is inspired by traditional basketball high-top models is reworked with bold colours that represent each city edition, as well as retro logos and signature Louis Vuitton iconography. Unveiling a closer look at all the upcoming city drops, the “Paris” drop sees the LV 408’s original black and grey colourway, updated with an LV monogrammed leather hangtag and sky blue laces to represent Paris. OFF-WHITE™ DROPS NEW “TAPE” CAPSULE COLLECTION

Quality-meets-luxury. Following the recent unveiling of the Pre-Fall 2020 collection, Off-White™ is back with a new capsule collection, this time taking a more playful stylistic direction. On cue with the brand’s emphasis on quality-meets-luxury, the “TAPE” titled capsule collection features classic essentials such as t-shirts and hoodies that are decorated with the “YOURS TRULY” phrase which appears emblazoned on the front with colourful tape detailing. The range also includes soft denim shorts which appear in a black vintage wash with the Off-White™ arrow motif, as well as accessories in the form of a pair of white slides that are marked “RIGHT” and “LEFT,” and matching bucket hat. BALENCIAGA TEAMS UP WITH WORLD FOOD PROGRAMME FOR SECOND CAPSULE RELEASE

A Noble Collab. Marking the duo’s second collaborative capsule, Balenciaga recently unveiled their latest release in partnership with World Food Programme (WFP) which takes a similarly stripped-back, co-branded approach to the last drop. Drawing attention to the non-profit organisation’s goal to end world hunger by the year 2030, 20% of the proceeds will go to WFP as well as information about their cause packaged with every item purchased. Releasing just a few images of the collection presenting a blue sweatshirt, black hoodie, and t-shirt, the upcoming release is set to build on the previous capsule to include co-branded outerwear, bags, accessories and more. LOUIS VUITTON’S NEW SINGLE SNEAKER BOXES DROP THIS SUNDAY

Sneaker Storage Perfection. Following the unveiling of their ultra-desirable sneaker trunk in all its glory last week, French luxury label Louis Vuitton has since revealed a smaller iteration which is set to drop this Sunday. Featuring the brand’s signature monogram across the entire case, the leather skin is complemented with silver hardware detailing, black leather trim and a perspex monogrammed front. The portable box also features two hidden drawers behind the slanted pedestal to hide away any personal items.
