WISDOM FUSES PRACTICALITY AND STYLE FOR SPRING/SUMMER 2021
Lightweight urban gear. Marrying utility with style, wisdom takes elements from technical apparel and remixes them to create a fashion-forward final project. The brand, which was founded in 2009, has presented its latest collection for Spring/Summer 2021 which continues its narrative of urban street and outdoor apparel. For this season, there is a focus on sustainability with repurposed and organic fabrics being used throughout. This means that technical fabrics such as polyester and nylon which traditionally rack up a large carbon footprint in production can be rocked without a guilty conscience. The collection uses roomy silhouettes to create comfortable items that are often elevated with a range of 3-D pockets for a utilitarian edge. Bringing some codes from streetwear into its world, wisdom also includes a range of graphics printed on t-shirts including a peace sign motif and one which depicts a television that replaces a man’s head.
