BALENCIAGA'S UPDATED SPEED HUNTERS HOODIE HIGHLIGHTS '90S NOSTALGIA

Demna Gvasalia‘s Balenciaga has brought back its Speed Hunters hooded sweatshirt with an updated graphic for its seasonal Spring/Summer 2019 collection. First debuted last year, the new iteration further hones in on the ‘90s nostalgia, continuing with the boy band this time with a The Matrix-themed backdrop and typography. Similar to last season’s Speedhunters hoodie, the new iteration features a back emblazoned with tour dates in similarly-themed typography. Each date signifies a birthday of the design team’s members. In terms of construction, the made in Italy hoodie features a soft cotton fleece-back jersey fabric and is shaped in an oversized fit for a more casual, street-friendly appearance.
