Dropping Next Friday. The latest arrival a slew of autumn/winter 2019 lookbooks, adidas Originals recently dropped their Spezial offering online for your perusal. Pulling inspiration notes from Northern England and the unpredictable weather it’s associated with, the concise offering centres around weathering the harsher months with hard-wearing, utilitarian pieces. Comprising a range of apparel and four footwear styles, outerwear predictably dominates the collection with four updated sneaker silhouettes bolstering an otherwise solid winter-weather offering. Arriving in five distinct colourways, the new silhouette fuses printed leather with distressed suede, reflective fabric and mesh trim to form the construction while also featuring a rubber sole and logo printed tongue. PAUSE OR SKIP: BURBERRY CLASSIC CANVAS SNEAKER

Hi-top & Low-top. Following it’s Autumn/Winter 2019 runway show, Burberry just released its take on the classic canvas sneaker with these low-top and high-top renditions. Burberry’s Larkhall canvas sneaker sees a black canvas with a white and gum rubber sole and features high rubber foxing and reinforced metal eyelet. With contrasting “BURBERRY” branding on the lateral side of the shoe, in an alternating black and white text. DIOR & JAPANESE DEPARTMENT STORE ISETAN LAUNCH EXCLUSIVE PIECES FOR 20TH ANNIVERSARY

Tokyo Exclusive. Celebrating their 20th anniversary, Isetan Shinjuku has teamed up with Dior for the release of a selection of collaborative items to be sold at a special pop up in their Toyko department store. Featuring pieces designed by Kim Jones and Maria Grazia Chiuri, a selection of both limited edition tartan and oblique printed bags, apparel, footwear and homeware will be on offer exclusively via the retailer. SUPREME & NIKE DROP OFFICIAL LOOK AT UPCOMING SB DUNK LOW SNEAKER

Two-toned. After teasing and leaking a few days ago, Supreme just unveiled the official look at the upcoming Nike SB Dunk Low. Dropping in an assortment of colours including white and red, black and silver and royal navy and gold colourways, the two-toned Dunk Low features metallic leather uppers with a matching Zoom Air unit midsole. With Supreme star embroidery on the lateral side of each shoe, the collab sneaker is accented with a minimal jewel Swoosh that’s designed to match the colour of the toe box. Supreme’s SB Dunk low is finished with co-branded red insoles and a “World Famous” tag. OFF-WHITE™ X NIKE WAFFLE RACER SP FINALLY GET RELEASE DATE

On the way. Virgil Abloh’s Off-White label and Nike are back with the highly anticipated Off-White™ x Waffle Racer SP sneaker. Part of the brands “Athlete in Progress” collection which is packed with post-run performance apparel drops, the sneaker is available in a trio of colourways; Black/Purple/White, Teal/Volt/Black and White/Sail/Silver, all under a needed film that covers the upper of the shoe, creating an athletic tape look. Featuring a hiking-inspired lacing system, the running shoe dons an exposed tongue with retro Nike tongue tags. The shoe is detailed with midfoot Swooshes, signature Off-White™ motifs like the orange tabs and industrial style prints, “NIKE” branding is printed on the heel, while a spiked rubber outsole rounds out the shoe. Now in black & white. The first sneaker debuted by Virgil Abloh when he took over the reins at Louis Vuitton, the LV 408 Trainer is now reworked with a new luxurious colourway. Initially debuted in a high-top, black and grey, as well as in green and red hues, the retro vintage basketball shoe inspired sneaker now appears in a black and white option, decorated with Louis Vuitton logos on the tongue and side panels. With gold script LV branding on the lateral side, the luxury sneakers are crafted from quality calf leather, and feature a rubber outsole and monogram flowers on the outsole. HAILEY BIEBER LEVELS UP SUITS WITH SNEAKERS BY ADDING A PAIR OF OFF-WHITE™ AIR FORCE 1S

Hailey Bieber made a strong case for pairing a suit with sneakers yesterday, strolling through Los Angeles in an outfit from Jacquemus’ Spring/Summer 2020 collection and styling it with a pair of “MCA” Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1s. The outfit, loose-fitting and florally patterned, highlights how suiting is becoming ever-more liberated from its conservative associations and finding a new place in the fashion world of today. Styled with a plain white T-shirt and black sunglasses, Bieber shows that suits don’t have to be uncomfortable and can be assimilated into your everyday wardrobe with ease. The La Veste D’Homme suit was chosen by stylist Maeve Reilly and is notable for its oversized shape, menswear-like proportions, and summery blue patterning — which of course matches the sneaker’s colorway. You can expect to see more of the suit’s color as the year drips on, with “AI aqua blue” predicted to be the next big color trend, following the frozen yellow and neo-mint of recent times. Virgil Abloh’s highly coveted Air Force 1 “MCA” was first seen in May, when the Off-White™ and Louis Vuitton designer gifted a pair to Serena Williams, customizing them with the words “FOR SERENA ONLY” written in the designer’s signature quotations marks. The sneaker was eventually released last month.

ADIDAS' YEEZY BOOST 700 OG "WAVE RUNNER" IS RESTOCKING AGAIN THIS WEEKEND (UPDATE)

UPDATE (Aug. 14, 2019): After an unannounced restock this past Monday, adidas has confirmed it will be dropping the coveted YEEZY BOOST 700 OG “Wave Runner” once again this upcoming weekend. The new drop date will take place on Saturday, August 17 and will see the YEEZY BOOST 700 OG “Wave Runner” available in full family sizing. Along with options for the youngsters, the beloved silhouette is also said to be re-releasing in both men’s and women’s sizing as well. The sneaker first made its debut in 2017 as a pre-order, then again in September 2018. Each time the sneaker quickly sold out. Since then various iterations have also been made available including the recent “Utility Black” colorway. According to Yeezy Mafia, fans should mark down August 17 for the return of adidas‘ YEEZY BOOST 700 OG “Wave Runner.” Keep it locked here for an official release date from adidas.
