ALEXANDER MCQUEEN DROPS LOOKBOOK FOR PATTERN HEAVY FW19 COLLECTION

Alexander McQueen has released its full lookbook for the Fall/Winter 2019 season. As one of the industry’s premier fashion houses, the brand looks to stay consistent this year by creating clothes that strike a fine balance between on-trend and traditional luxury. The cooler season brings forth a bevy of pieces that are built for those with a flair for the dramatic but also those who have an astute taste in impeccable cuts. Suiting is a prime example of the label’s expertise as we see blazers in slimmer proportions as well as trousers. Patterns define the whole collection this time around with large plaids, playful floral prints and abstract designs. Embellishments are another wow factor in the range as we see jeweled blazers, embroidered jackets and rose-embellished knits. KANYE WEST & YEEZY DROP "SUNDAY SERVICE" APPAREL FOR COACHELLA PERFORMANCE

To coincide with this morning’s “Sunday Service” performance at Coachella, Kanye Westdrops a spiritual YEEZY capsule. The commemorative collection includes: a crewneck, in an “oxen” tie-dye or “bone,” that reads “HOLY SPIRIT” in a circular text on the front and “SUNDAY SERVICE AT THE MOUNTAINTOP” on the back; a long sleeve tee that takes the crewneck’s theme and adds sun and fire graphics; a draping, choir-like poncho; and a bone-colored T-shirt with “TRUST GOD” printed across the front. The heavenly clothing is finished off with sweetpants to match the crewnecks, and, maybe best of all, the “Jesus Walks” socks. YEEZY’s “Sunday Service” collection is available now at kanyewest.com, with prices ranging from $50 USD for the socks, to $225 USD for the crewnecks. In Gold We Trust has just released a gender-neutral Spring/Summer 2019 collection. Inspired by gender fluidity, the new collection’s expanded color selection features an array of washes in a softer, summery palette. Following behind Kid Cudi and Cactus Plant Flea Market’s capsule drop at Coachella last week, the collaborative merchandise has officially released online in celebration of 4/20. The three-piece collection comprises hoodies and a long-sleeved T-shirt, all bearing emblems to commemorate Kid Cudi’s Coachella performance, as well as his LP, Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’. Both hoodies have been crafted with heavyweight pigment dye and feature graphics such as an Indio, Ca. sunset on the gold-toned version, and “Cudi Saves” on the black edition. Meanwhile, the tee takes on a white base and comes stamped with phrases such as “FREQUENCY” and “ILLUSIONS.” The duo released the capsule today at 4:20 p.m. EST, but will only offer it online for the next four days and 20 hours. PAUL POGBA & ADIDAS REUNITE FOR BASKETBALL-INSPIRED COLLABORATION

adidas has continued its ongoing collaboration with France and Manchester United footballer Paul Pogba. For the Spring/Summer 2019 collection, Pogba has taken inspiration from both his career as a footballer and his passion for basketball. The six-piece capsule covers footwear and apparel, with stand-out pieces including basketball jerseys and shorts referencing the collection’s influence. Other key pieces include track pants and a co-branded track jacket. The collection prominently features the unique “PP” logo, and comes in a red, black and white color palette in reference to the iconic Predator boots. For the footwear element of the collection, Pogba has taken the tooling from James Harden’s signature Harden Vol. 2 basketball shoe. The P+ sneaker comes in a predominantly white upper, offset with red Three Stripes and black detailing. The full collection is available from the adidas web store and select retailers now. JEAN PAUL GAULTIER IS ARGUABLY SUPREME’S EDGIEST COLLABORATOR YET

Supreme has revealed its latest high-fashion collaboration, this time with famed Parisian designer Jean Paul Gaultier. Gaultier is best known for his ready-to-wear label and couture collections of the ’80s, ’90s, and mid-’00s, as well as his seven-year tenure as creative director of Hermès. The new Supreme drop is, according to a quick survey of the Highsnobiety office, “strong,” one that has translated elements of Gaultier’s legendary design philosophy into a palatable range of core streetwear and a bogo-fied edition of his iconic Le Male fragrance. After learning his trade under the tutelage of Pierre Cardin, Gaultier showed his first collection in 1976. A young Martin Margiela was watching and later gushed to Vogue, “I was seized by an excitement I had never felt before.” Nine years later, Gaultier hired Margiela as an assistant. Fans hanging around the General Store in the afternoon on Friday were randomly selected to receive a photo via AirDrop from “Donald Glover.” The lucky iPhone users who trustingly tapped “Accept” were rewarded with a coupon for a free pair of sneakers from the Vintage Market, valid for just 60 minutes. The Donald Glover x adidas Nizza collab doesn’t have a release date yet, but it seems pretty safe to assume it’s coming soon. Sneakers aren’t the only thing Glover dropped at Coachella. His long-awaited film project with Rihanna, Guava Island, was finally released. YSL Beauty announces a one-of-a-kind pop-up experience for this year’s Coachellafestival. Located in the heart of Palm Springs, the YSL Beauty Station mimics a gas station, offering much more than fuel and your typical road snacks. Prior to walking into the space, you won’t be able to miss the towering lipstick sign, vintage convertibles, a tours bus and bright pink gas pumps located outside the station. Furthermore, decorative heart-shaped balloons reference YLS Beauty’s Volupte Plump-In-Colour. The pop-up store sits behind the YSL Beauty Station, as it houses the label’s newest and best-selling makeup essentials, in addition to a new campaign starring Kaia Gerber. The space includes four areas: one dedicated to the Touche Eclat Radiant Touch pen and the Touche Eclat High Cover Radiant Concealer, one to the Rogue Volupte Shine moisturizing lipstick and Volupte Plump-In-Colour lipstick, one to Tom Pecheux’s Palm Springs makeup looks, and finally one to the Make It Yours station where you can customize your favorite YSL lipstick. Attendees will also have the opportunity to play with an exclusive makeup vending machine and a virtual mirror that allows you to try on over 50 shades. Located along Route 111 in Cathedral City, the YSL Beauty Station will be open April 12 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and April 13 and April 14 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
