Pharrell Announces Tiffany & Co. Collaboration
Amongst the star-studded attendees at NIGO‘s creative directorial debut at Kenzo‘s Fall/Winter 2022 show in Paris, critically acclaimed producer and fashion icon Pharrell Williams was in attendance. While the show marked a historical moment for NIGO, Pharrell also announced his new project by wearing a pair of almond-shaped diamond-encrusted sunglasses, teasing a new design collaboration with Tiffany & Co.
He spoke to WWD and said, “Tiffany and I are engaged” and admitted that this was just the “first of many things that I’m gonna do with Tiffany.” When asked about how his collaboration differs from others, Pharrell said, “It’s a partnership…It’s about seeing things differently.” He continued, “I can’t give it all away now. I don’t want to go too much into detail, OK, because we’re here today to celebrate my brother Nigo.”
In the past, Pharrell has collaborated with Louis Vuitton in 2008 on a fine jewelry collection based on coats of arms. As a known Chanel ambassador, he is often seen rocking the brand’s iconic necklaces. Since LVMH purchased Tiffany and Co., the brand has released numerous collaborations, recently with the staple skater brand Supreme.
There is currently no official word on when Pharrell’s Tiffany and Co. collab will release.
