American color experts Pantone has announced a “universal favorite” as its Color of the Yearfor 2020: “Classic Blue” aka Pantone 19-4052. The company describes the deep cobalt-blue shade as “a reassuring presence instilling calm, confidence and connection,” and ”brings a sense of peace and tranquility to the human spirit, offering refuge.”
